A love triangle is thought to be the reason that a woman allegedly struck her husband’s motorcycle, causing him to run off the road and then drove away in pursuit of his girlfriend’s SUV. Authorities have charged the San Antonio woman with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and murder in connection with the fatal accident.
According to officials, the woman was driving a black Cadillac Escalade southbound on Loop 1604 on the way to Macdona Lacoste Road, less than two miles from her and her husband’s trucking company headquarters when she hit her husband’s Harley Davidson, forcing him off of the roadway. Instead of stopping to help, the woman allegedly went in pursuit of the man’s girlfriend, who was driving a black Range Rover, and rammed her vehicle into the SUV. The man was airlifted to the hospital where he died of his injuries. The girlfriend was not injured in the incident.
