A man who was in upper management at Blue Bell Creameries died after an accident on the afternoon of June 3 in Texas outside of Houston. Another man, also in upper management for the same company, remained hospitalized after the accident and was operated on later the same day. According to the authorities, the men were changing a flat tire by the side of the road when another car hit them, causing the wrongful death. Although they were transported by air to a medical facility, the first man passed away en route to the hospital. Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
A representative for the company observed that the accident shocked them and was very sad for their organization. The deceased man worked for Blue Bell when he was in high school and college. He took management positions after graduation at retail stores in Texas. However, he went back to work at Blue Bell in 1997 and was later promoted.
Visitation for the executive was held on Thursday, June 6 while his funeral services were held on Friday, June 7 at an area house of worship. He was laid to rest at a local cemetery.
After the tragic car accident, one man died and another was injured and hospitalized. The person responsible for the accident could potentially face charges when the authorities conclude their investigation. However, even if that individual is not charged criminally, the family members of the victims could decide to pursue civil charges. A personal injury attorney might be able to help family members seek fair and just compensation after a fatal car accident.
